What If converted axis Flak ships

The Germans recycled various old Dutch and scandinavian warships as AS ships although they were more along the lines of mobile Flak batteries than the allied examples

They seemed to have taken their names from the Gazelle class German cruisers some of which survived and made up their numbers.

So what former warships might have been lurking in an alternative universe and suitable for conversion.

My investigation of possible french candidates has stumbled across a nugget of what if possibilities. THE old French cruiser Gueydon was modified as a cosmetic decoy for Prinz Euge n . Now to find some pics

For a large movable AA platform, the Commandante Teste might have been useful. Remove all the cranes for the aircraft and load up with multiple guns.

The Gueydon would have been an odd choice to mimic the PE class; the hull shape, the multiple funnels, the superstructure layout.

If anyone has a copy of German Cruisers of WW2 by Whiteley I think their is  aphoto in their. Don't have it myself but I saw a thread on another website saying that it's in their i think they moored some other craft next to it to give it more length.
