Little bit more completed.....the black tubes are lengths of cotton bud to replace the kit exhausts....my idea of a flame damper/shroud......anything other than the mis formed kit parts....

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Great job on your model !!!  I'm impressed with it but I just can't go with your choice of color scheme. It just looks wrong to me. Don't ask me why ... ???  I have wanted that kit for many years but haven't found one yet. Now, I HAVE to get me one after seeing yours !!!   Thanks for inspiring me with this build ...

Father E.....many thanks.....my choice was based on it being over water.....in hindsight maybe a blue n dark sea grey or a green....maybe like RN a/c of WWII.....but in the end I'm happy with it...thanks for the comments.... :thumbsup:

Nice ! I love the colours...looks retro and modern at the same time ! Love the extra work on the bracing as well, adds alot to the model. I have this kit in the stash, but it seems to be such a dog that I don't want to start it...but the 'real' aeroplane itself is sure a beauty !
