Thinking about a PM I just answered, if any other middle-agers out there have fond memories of one of the great what-ifs from the past, Johnny Red (Battle Action comic), then they may be happy to hear that Himself is now out in a series of top quality HB graphic novels. If this is old news I apologise, but there are some interesting ideas in there .

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Hehe.. I remember Johnny Red. One of the stories I always read first when I got my weekly Warlord and battle comics.
If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

If you go into battle knowing you will die, then you will live. If you go into battle hoping to live, then you will die

Oh yes!!  What a great diorama idea - Johnny's Hurricane chewing the tail off a Stuka with its prop, 'somewhere over the Russian Front'!!
