Why do I hear the theme music from Deliverance in my head reading that ?  ;)

Well a great weekend, I think the concensus was that it was one of the better shows of the last few years

Got what I was after, plus what others were after  ;D , and a few other bits and pieces as well.  Got a free chemistry lesson from Steel Penguin and we also discussed Newton's Laws of Gravity and how they apply to the outer planets in our system  ;)  On the other side of the coin we had an interesting conversation with a lovely lady from the colonies about his ear rings/chains and ask him about Michael Angelo and his Statue of David ?

Slightly tiring journey home even though all the connections were spot on, but was it worth it ? OF COURSE IT WAS   Indeed hotel is booked for next year.

December's SAM dropped through the letterbox with a thump this morning and a quick browse through revealed an interesting article desingned in particular with the "Old Farts Club" in mind. Plastic Model Companies That Time Almost Forgot - Hawk.

Some of the box art certainly stirred memories, and the "Beta -I : Atomic Powered Bomber XAB-1" with the sub title " what if kits sold well in the 50's"  is fantastic
