Don't know if any of our digital modelers use this, or a similar site, but a quick Google search turned it up for me.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

For interim and WWII colours there are some relatively old digital charts for RAF, Luftwaffe, Italy and Japan/Army and Finnland with RGB and CMYK colours.
For the pre-FS US colours these 3 charts (again RGB & CMYK) are IMHO the best:

ANA
