Skunk Works

Hello all,

If any of you are Groom Lake buffs you will probably have heard of the fabled black F-16's at Area 51 sat on the Tarmac ready to be scrambled if anyone enters the airspace at night. I thought this would make a cool basis for my Italeri F-16 night falcon model, I am however pondering what to do in the way of markings ? I didn't really want to display any particular fighter wing ( I'm imaginig if they did belong to any it would be the ones stationed at Nellis AFB close by as the 412th at Edwards is only a test wing )

Any ideas ?
Currently on the workbench :

Revell/Monogram SR-71 Blackbird.

Academy F-117 Nighthawk.

Steel Penguin

black, or dark grey all over, with markings in grey ( boring), red ( warning!), or glow in the dark (freaky!)  big squadron symbols glowing faintly in the night would freak out any spotters I think.
the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.
wow, its like freefalling into the Geofront

"Squadron" marking should be a low-vis "no aliens" sign along the lines of the Ghostbusters "no ghosts" sign.... ;D
