This happened the other day when about 30 of these Sulphur -crested Cockatoo's flew over our house and landed in the next door neighbour's yard.
It was a photographers excuse to take the ultimate shot....if on to call them. 'Cock-ie, Cock-ie....until they looked toward me, and then 'Click'!
Just think, each of these are about $10K on the black-market.....gee, it's so nice to see them free!

Stunning birds and a great pic  :thumbsup: Ex girlfriends parents had one. Was free to roam the house (clipped wings) and was a real mans bird. Tried to bite all the women. Pam's mum used to get her own back when cooking chickens etc. Used to show the thing the roasting bird all trussed up and saying "if you don't behave this will be you" . The thing would behave for a while after that.

I'll have to try and get a pic of the green parrots around here

Great shot! Got accosted by one of these while walking over a bridge in Sydney some years ago. Amazing birds.
