Hello everyone,

After a long period of unavailability I am planning a limited re-issue of the BAe EAP kit under my Silver Cloud label. This is a 1/72nd scale multi-media kit, featuring grey and clear resin, photo-etched brass, white metal and screen printed decals by Fantasy Printshop. I am hoping to have this kit back on sale by the middle of March, in time for IPMS Southern Expo at Hornchurch, Essex, and should definately have some for Cosford. Price to be confirmed but in region of £45 as before. Below is an image of the original issue of the kit built by Karl Robinson for SAM;

The basic kit is unchanged from original issue, some damage to the masters has been repaired and its had a general clean up. So don't worry, it will be no different from the earlier kit if you have one, other than packaging that is.

Also expected for release in March will be our 1/72nd scale Dassault Etendard IVP and Douglas A-4C/L conversion sets, designed for use with the Heller IVM and Airfix A-4B base kits.

Thanks!

Colin

Etendard IVP? Oh yes!  ;D

I have a vacform conversion for that and it bears as much resemblance to a IVP as my Hat!

Your EAP is a whole step forward from the original Pegasus issue, isn't it Colin? I still have one of those older ones somewhere........
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Oh yes please, i passed over my original one to one of the Warton Boys at our club who missed the first release so now get a chance to replace it and build it  :thumbsup:

I take it this means the P1154 revamp will be on the back burner for now ?

Glad I can be of service Kit. looking forward to the IVP to.

EAP a few steps forward, yes, and a couple of cm's longer to as the Pegasus one was a bit on the small side! A picture says a thousand words...

I need to talk to Paul on the P1154 tweaks and revamps, but its not too far on the back burner as I'm trying to make the most of what I've got sitting on the masters shelf, so it might get to the front pretty soon!

Having been searching for second hand Heller IVM kits for the last year (managed to find three!), today I got one of the re-issued ones, I can finally say I own a Heller kit with an excellently printed decal sheet! Nearly A5 size, not sure who printed it but its up to Cartograf standard I reckon.

Oh yes, early Heller decals plumb the depths of awfulness! They may have umpteen different variations on each sheet but they're usually matt, badly printed, WELL out of register and quite often creased too!  :banghead:

They're not too bad as a scource for scanning, cleaning up and re-printing though.......  ;)
