Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Nice aircraft & really nice build!

Thought it looked a bit rough for one of your builds at the beginning there, Dizzy, then it all seemed to come together at the end beautifully.

It looks outstanding and the pics and backstory both back it up extremely well - excellent job!

Hello everyone, many thanks for having a look and your positive feedback.

The background has been compiled from several sources - you actually find a lot of details about the T-58Sh, even though in bits and pieces. I tried to put anything I could find (technical details, development background) into it. Anything about service life is fictional, of course, but I tried to benchmark that part with real service types. That makes it lengthy, but is IMHO part of such a whif that actually could have been.  ;)

As an addendum, here are three additional "calendar pics" - accidently had them saved in the wrong place on my PC, think they are worth sharing with the model:

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Brill stuff there Thomas, it looks like a MONSTER twin engine Etendard in some views.  ;D

Amazing build with all the different bits.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks a LOT to everyone!

BTW: the beauty pics just show (again) that a whif gains incredible momentum if you can set it in (an approriate) scene. I added the last three, even though they are not 100% sharp - but the motivs were just great and dynamic. Esp. the middle one (where the landing gear was hard to hide...) has a dramatic angle!

The colour saturation of the plane in middle shot also blends in nearly perfectly with that of the background & makes it look like a real air-to-air photograph.

Looks great to see in the flesh, great job blending the parts together.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
