Im not sure whether this is a VTOL Viper or attempting to copy the P.1216 concept, but here it is anyways.....

The base for this model is the airfix 1:72 angel interceptor, the nose is made from a grafted on harrier GR.3 fuel tank. The wings have been moved to the top of the fuselage and the tail fin has been cut off and turned into the horizontal control surfaces. The booms are made from the other ends of the harrier tanks and two pairs of large pipettes stuffed with milliput. Everything else has been grabbed from the spares box, including the mish mash of decals.

Sure does ! Very well done, lots of different bits in this one eh ? The end result is worth all the work.

Looks great!

What kind of landing gear is it supposed to have? How will you display it?

PR19_Kit

Wow, that sure is imaginative, well done indeed!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Looks kind of F-18ish to me, great build

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

Thanks guys, and I was thinking of having two large wheels in the centre of the fuselage and two stabilising wheels in the booms

Nicely done; it's a kit I wouldn't have thought of using as a base, but it works.
