This one's also finished now. Operating with the Spanish Nationalists, 1946 over the Ebro Delta and on loan from the US Marines. US agreements include an American pilot and a Spanish GIB who has to make the calls to avoid messy diplomatic incidents. Designed to operate in colder northern regions of the Atlantic and Pacific, her cockpit arrangement was wholly unsuited to the hoy dry climate of the Costa Brava region. The pilots side hinged canopy was removed almost immediately; the complicated observer's canopy, prone to jamming shut in the slipstream, soon followed. In the hot Spring and very hot Summer of 1946 this proved a godsend.

Her main armament is the 20mm Gatling firing through the propeller hub but she also carries a podded twin minigun package under the fuselage. The nose carries an effective night fighting radar that was adapted to sweep for surface shipping in the delta region and many coves/inlets along the rocky eastern shoreline further north.

Love the shark mouth on the float, brill idea, and I don't think I've ever seen that in the RW either.
