Mine are in something more akin to a 3-ring circus!

That's my build desk right now!  The inhabitants are; junkyard dog, F-104+Viggen, F-82 with helicopter fuselage, Ian McQue project, the tug buggy and USMC Mohawk helicopter. Not counting the ones on the shelf next to it.

Having been away working (and actually also servicing some Land Rovers), I haven't made that much of a progress lately modelling wise. That said, I'm well under way finishing the Scandinavian bunch as can be seen in these two test shots:

Off again Thursday morning for another two days away, so I guess this I where we'll be for a bit.
In the mean time, I need to think a bit more on loadouts for the strike Lansen and the Danish Super Sabre and Super Hunter.

Those both look great. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the others you mentioned.

Thanks.
Looking at these shots on my computer screen (i posted via the mobile), I can see that the Lansen shot is pretty damn awful. Ah, well.. There will be better ones eventually..

On a side note: The Stoppel Danish serials were outright awful to work with. Despite three layers of Microscale liquid decal film, I very nearly lost two of the numbers in the process. The Flying Colours Swedish serials decal sheets have been much more forthcoming, if not in any way flawless.

Ah, well.. There now.

The Danish Sabre looks great in that all-green livery.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I really will have to move on from paid work in some way. Preferrably with cashflow intact.  It just takes too much time..

Anyway - in between managing stuff, travelling and mending some cars, I've been able to paint a few Swedish rockets that'll go on the refurbished CAS SAAB A29 I've been working on. It's not much result, but I see it as a start to the loadout procedure on the other SAABs in the bunch. And that's something.
While fiddling with paints and brushes, I also took the opportunity to repaint the grey undersides of my old SAAB 105 that's been suffering from a somewhat less researched colour choice for a decade or two. Better now, and I might even add some stencilling once I've sealed the paint. One never knows..  ;)
