Found in the last few days by whilst working on a 1/48 scale tr1 that my clamps are to small to fit around to hold it together whilst guleing.
My wife had bought some balloons from the local pound shop but found that they were the type use to make animals etc not what she wanted as when they are fully blown up the go pop, so they got chucked my way.
I used one of them to hold the half together just pulling the balloon tight and tucking it under itself to keep the tightness it held it great and since then i used them to hold a few diffrent pieces together even strange shapes and it works every time. and some some reason glue doesn't stick it to the plastic!!!

Sounds interesting, how about a pic or two please?
I'm sure they come by the bag full.

Interesting idea, but balloons tend to deteriorate quickly. In a month or two, the plastic will become sticky. Remember what a balloon looks like that's been left too long?

Have to agree with Harro but it's a great idea for one/three shot use maybe. And cheap as chips (or at least as cheap as they were) in £ Store.

Thanks for sharing mate
