This is an old build, built when I was stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky in 1974. It was from my first order from Squadron Shop Mail Order. The instructions mentioned that the Japanese Army flew them in China. I had no references, so I used Humbrol paints, which were new to me at this time. The decals were scrounged from the whatever bin. In retrospect these machines as camouflaged could have been stationed in Mongolia, home of the Gobi Desert. I though that this looked cool back when I built it, and I am still proud of it today.

Nice!

Goes with some of the Japanese<>Italian profile work done recently (can't remember who did them, though).

It does look good

Some of the recent Italeri boxings include the Japanese option
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Another Italian bird that has a natural Japanese look (like the Reggiane in the Asiarama GB). VERY nice, looks very convincing with the Hinomaru markings!

Oldie but a Goodie eh ? Love the camo. One of those aeros I've always liked...except for the tail. That boxy look just seems right for an aeroplane of that era.

Nice work !
