Not sure if they really went away as such, but Williams Bros kits seem to be being marketed with reknewed vigour again: there was a stall full of them at Telford. Big H have just got these two in:

2 x 1/48th autogyros in a box, which looks like a pretty decent deal:

And the old classic Martin B-10 is back:

16 colour schemes! Must be one hell of a decal sheet....

I didn't notice them at all, was it Big H who had the stall of them at Telford?

Any sign of the C-46?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Mel Bromley of S & M decals is acting as the importer, and he has shed loads of the C-46 :)

Ive picked up four of em off him over the last few months.

Built the B-10 in RAF colours, enjoyed it
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Captain Canada

Love to get 1 or 2 of those B-10s ! Such a neat looking aeroplane. Maybe a single and three engine variant ?

I've got one C-46 in the stash. Was going to do a Buffalo Airways aeroplane. Someday....but you know what John Fogerty says.....

Mel was telling me at the Coventry traders fair that he was waiting on the B-10, Im after one or two for the stash.

Originally he was only intending on getting hold of the C-46 to go with some of his own decal projects. He was told by the current owners of the Williams Brothers brand and tooling that they were happy to produce runs of just about everything in the range if he wanted them..................The sales at Telford showed that he's onto a winner for now.
I always hope for the best.

I've got one of the old "white box" B-10s squirreled away: to be Spanish Republican one of these years...

That decal sheet on the reissued B-10 is a wonderful thing.  LOTS of options there.  The kit itself is the same as originally issued.  The instruction sheet is a tad better than what Williams Brothers came up with originally.

This kit though, cries out for aftermarket treatments.  The cockpits are pretty bare and that front turret could benefit muchly from a suite of photo-etch.  Throw in some resin engines and maybe resin wheel bays and it'd be truly outstanding.
Wherever you go, there you are!

Falcon do a vac-form canopy set for it IIRC.
