indeed, it was used by Onur Air before entering storage in Dublin mid-2013.
it was bought by HiFly who have leased it to the Belgian AF, where it will replace the leased A330 (also owned by HiFly.

the new serial will be CS-TRJ

has anybody ever given the A380 the guppy treatment?

Not quite but I got close with my 'A390' some years back.

It's a stretched, de-snooted Beluga (or rather two of them) with A340 wings, 4 x A330 engines, a stretched 747 fin and a DC10 tailplane.

That'd make a great gunship...

You could fire broadsides like a galleon.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Always liked this one, the P500.  Side by side double bubble alternative to the A380, with a twin tail.

Take two A340's, bridge the gap with some plastic card and buy out the worlds supply of Milliput?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Easier just to use a single A340 fuselage and put a spacer top and bottom to get the oval fuselage.

Great thread comeback ! I had always wanted to do a Super Beluga type....but I had no idea there was a 'real' one ! I do recall kits example tho. Thanks for all the links and photos. But......

Now I like the idea od the A380 Beluga !

The Belgian 321 is tres boring. Needs a cheat line or something......but then again, the 321 just never looked right to me, I like the stubby 318/19 types.

CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

The 844 FASS would be a nice kit to make as well !

Now I generally find airliners incredibly dull (the older the better, though), but that P500 looks great! I'd be tempted to give it an H-tail.
