With Bismarck turrets modified and reescaled to 1/2, so 7.5in guns. Well, let's say 6in.

And updating the old concept of Flying Battleship.

Will die without understanding this world.

Yikes. The Type 21s had serious topweight issues anyway, so two twin 6" would be, uh, slightly ott! No helicopters either, I see.

Pretty ships though. What about a Soviet-style version, with huge banks of anti-ship missiles? Say half a dozen or so Exocet boxes down each side? ;D

How about Hydrofoils?  Stabilising fins, and a booster jet for high speed dashes.

It wasn't so much topweight in a balance sense as the fact that adding much more weight would put the very low quarterdeck underwater at otherwise bearable angles of roll. For a new-but-similar design, start by filling in that quarterdeck and you can then add a fair bit of weight which just makes her sit lower in the water.

HMS Amazon - there's a whole heap of jokes about spam and qualifying for free shipping but I can't quite pin them down...

How about a step in the hull so she can 'plane?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.
