It doesn't look balanced, somehow.  Perhaps a fuselage plug or the longer nose of the F3 would have improved it?

Shorten the wingspan a bit? The Phantom had almost twice the wing area than the Tornado. I love it though!

I think Captain Canada has hit the nail on the head; the too straight trailing edge makes the wing look too large & unbalances the aircraft.

That said; it is, none-the-less, a great build & looks awesome!

'Unbalanced' is a word that was invented for the Tornado, just take a look at that fin in side view!

Is that an 'artistic' balanced (let's admit it, we're artists ;D) or structural/aerodynamic balanced?

kitbasher

I know what you mean about the wing and possibly the longer F3 fuselage. Worth remembering the large lift-generating tailplane of the real Tornado (which this whif endeavours to compensate for through the smaller tailplane). IIRC the fin is also lift generating in certain aspects.

Notwithstanding any of this thank you for the plaudits.

Nice build.  Missing link between TSR.2 and the Jaguar?

Could it be that the original Tornado is the only aircraft that has more lift-generating surface in a knife-edge pass than in level flight?  ;D

Hehe, nice one! It's not called 'The Mighty Fin' on the squadrons for nothing!
