I have built over 3,00 models in my lifetime, but this is the first time that I have ever built a Pink airplane. I had a prop and spinner left over from a Special Hobby Seafire Mk.47 and a $5.00 Airfix P-39. So I made a Cleveland National Air Races style racer from the late 1940s. I enlarged the nose to fit the spinner with putty. I puttied the wing gondola recesses, lengthened the nose gear,  added a roof to the main wheel-well, and added a ventral fin for stability. I mixed the Pink from Testors Gloss Red and Gloss White and painted the model with a brush. The interior is Testors Aluminum. The markings came from the spares-box and were applied in the period manner for 1940s era racing aircraft. I was going to do this one in Orange, but there is a "Pink" Group Build on the Modeling Madness forum, so I changed my mind. I like it!

Gorgeous finish (and love the extra prop blade, too).
Whatever.

You're not going to miss THAT beauty as she banks round the pylons, that's for sure!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Love the stance as she sits on the ground......ready to attack !

The new prop looks awesome as well.....although I hope they wind her up nice and slow as to not 'shaft' the pilot !

Great job.

PS-3000 models ? You must be two hundred and seventy five years old ! Call Guinness.....

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Wow, really impressed, especially with a mix paint and handbrushing, really well done   Looks like a natural.

The more I look the more I like ! Not the colour so much ( I mean, it looks great and all ) but just the stance and the way that prop looks.....totally changes the beast. I'm sticking this one in the 'stolen ideas' bank !

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

For a pink aircraft.........that looks pretty mean......great build...

Nice idea - I like the idea of an Airacobra racer!

Got me thinking now: uprated engine (Griffon?), enlarged air intake, enlarged radiators (how?), and with the gearbox being separate from the engine, it should be relatively simple to fit a contraprop unit as an alternative to a massive five-blader IF you could find a suitable unit....hmmmmmmmm
