If I leave the bulb unpainted, I could make an Edgely Optica type "light plane". If i source something smaller in bulbs, I could make a "Light Cruiser" with the bulbs as the turrets. If I take an aircraft carrier and install Xmas lights along and around the deck, it would be a "Light Carrier".
I never thought of "Light Horse". Hmmmm....

You Sir, are a sick, sick man...

And that, of course, means you fit right in here with the rest of us loonies...  ;D

Though I must say the idea of basing an observation plane canopy around something like this has merit...

Cheers

Ahhh, the Optica.  Memories of Satyrdays spent sitting in a Southsea backyard drinking, smoking, listening to the sound of the soccer crowd at Fratton Park and watching the Optica circling overhead.

Maybe a diorama next?  Charge of the light brigade?

Fred

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

And 'one of our own' makes/made a kit of it, that's Sharkit from France.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards

Pen torch might work, especially in 1/144?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Captain Canada

Hahaha...too funny ! That's a neat idea tho, that's for sure. Love the way it came out.

CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Long Live the Commonwealth !!!

Optica, HA!

When the demonstrator came to Edinburgh for the Royal Highland Show at Ingleston it was mayhem.
The Ingleston show ground is about 300m to one side of the main runway and is about 200m of the end of the short runway, that is the one that we used for all the flying club/AEF/UAS traffic.
The pilot did not understand that the exemption that he held was only for rule 5 (low flying)(Kitbasher will understand) but he was sure that the airspace would be cleared for him. Not a snowballs hope in Heinkel 111.
Then when he did get airborne, his radio was next to useless. That was a bad day at work!

They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

Ohhh my stars and garters...
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.
