Does anyone know of any currently available transfer (decal) sheets of pre WWII RAF Type A roundels with the bright colours ? I've loads of type A with the dark colours used from 1938 onwards but I really need a sheet of the pre 38 ones.

Thanks in advance

Chris

Not sure it's exactly what you want, but this Freightdog sheet looks promising:

I fancy it just for the "whiteless" union flags.... ;D

Sorry - just realised I read your post completely wrong and went off on one: that sheet is for early World War One roundels, not pre-'38 ones....... :-X :banghead:

Geoff beat me to it ---

BTW, those are 1920-1939 roundels so should suit what you're after

Almark did a small sheet of those mid-wars period roundels and AFAIK so did Modeldecal at one stage too.

Wouldn't surprise me, that's happened before IIRC. The layout isn't quite the same but the colours and sizes look pretty much identical.

when I went on the big H's website, I just used the search words 'RAF Roundels' and then scrolled through the listing until I found it it Chris --

That's what I should have done Robert. I just tried to be specific and it didn't work. Hangover from work when I was taught and taught others to be accurate and specific when writing so there could be no confusion. Obviously doesn't work in the Internet World........wait until I rule it

Thanks for your help gents
