Tigger Models acquired a whole wack of old ID Models moulds --

That is quite a collection of molds! I would have to build an extra room onto the house of I started building those kits!

Too big for me. Never built a vacformed kit although I have three 1/72 kits in my stash:
HS Nimrod
KC-97
Avro Shackleton MR3

Considering the recent discussions about big flying boats, the Sunderland might come in useful as a scale-o-rama'ed 1/72 hull...

You're right Brian, vacuforms of various scales are useful for that.  I picked up some 1/32 B-24 wings for just that purpose, they happen to work out to 230'-0" wing span in 1/72.

There's a slight problem with the Sunderlands' shape. Unless you kitbash, you've got problems with that hull.

What's wrong with the Sunderland's hull shape? Not that I'm ever likely to get one THAT big mind you!  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
