Three by Pegasus Hobbies: When Worlds Collide 'Ark'; Destination Moon 'Luna' (appending the name is debatable); First Spaceship on Venus (US release film title) Kosmostrator/Kosmokrator.

Glencoe re-pop of Strombecker Disney/Colliers Von Braun 3-stage rocket, the one with
the delta wing 'shuttle'.

Fremont Brewery Summer Ale.

Nice collection! Will we see the rest of the Von Braun rocket?

Yep, I'll post another pic after I get them all painted. The Destination Moon ship
is the only one painted.

Hadn't realised the Kosmostrator was so small.  Nice collection Jon, shares in silver paint???
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The Kosmostrator is nominally 1/350 scale, and is definitely based off the
1/500 drawings in The Spaceship Handbook. It's one of those things that
can't be taken seriously in terms of scale as Rogers admits the size is a WAG
based on the minimal number of film frames that give some size reference.
Supposedly it is in scale with the Ark, but the sci-fi boards are full of controversy
about that one.  ;D

Personally, I don't give a toss they're just fun, and I got the Luna and Kosmostrator
together from Tower Hobbies for a little over 33 bucks including shipping. ;D
IMHO while nice, neither merits an MSRP of $27.99, and I imagine on yer side of
the pond they'll probably leave leave the numbers the same and just change $ to £.   :-\

As to paint, rattle cans are my friend.  :drink:

Nothing more likely to get sci-fi fans hot under the collar than the subject of scale!

I haven't seen Luna or Kosmostrator for sale here, but yeah, the Space Ark is currently £25 (think it was closer £30 early on), Mercury 9 was going for £40 when first out, Nautilus is £55.  Sometimes bargains can be found, in fact I've just found Mercury 9 going for a little over £20, might be tempted....

I recently picked up one of their 1/48 V-2's, which when added to the Condor 1/72 might make my own rocketship....

Sounds so very German "stereotype" :P Germans make excellent beer, and the father of German Rocketry Werner Von Braun... :P

A rocket done up in the livery of a brewery? Why nut?
