Glad you told us where the name came from, I was wondering. I'm glad I'm not a crew member in that tank though, the ride must be APPALLING!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Why? It's not for an ant ... or a spider.

As long as it's got half-decent stabilisation & the leg movements are programmed properly, it could (should?) be smoother than the ride in a wheeled/tracked vehicle

Thanks a lot to anyone for having a look and the feedback. Actually, I agree that a "ride" could be a very smooth experience - but it won't be fast, I guess. The walking tank is a pretty romantic concept - at another point I had the discussion about having a bunch of these rushing into battle ...and entangling themselves with their legs! Messy, I guess?  ;)

Yup, troop discipline would be important. And as a defence just string a series of cables across the likely approach routes and cover them with mg's to get the poor old infantry who are sent to clear them  :blink:
