Hiya gang.

I'm building a 1/144 airliner (Constellation) and there's no interior, but there are clear windows.
What is the most reasonable looking backing colour for the windows, since it will be odd to look in through the clear and see nothing.

Merci d'avance!

Black or dark blue I would think. Painting the inside of the fuselage black would give a little depth.

What Kerick said.

Many of the airliner SIG who use the transparent plastic windows paint the interior black. Having said that it's a 50:50 break with those, like me, who use decal windows in 1/144 these days.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Black. Anything else looks odd, since you don't have any depth behind the windows.

Black it is! Thank you. It's a real-world birdie this time, for the NJ National Guard museum in Sea Girt. I have to find decals, too, as the originals are falling apart like dust.
