I would say VERA was more likely to cross 'the pond' than the Brit one, she was originally used for maritime patrol so would be more prepared for it --- LOL!

....and it was pretty cool for her to 'talk the walk' she was designed for all those years ago. I guess it would have been too touchy to let her do a few trips to Germany and back in this day and age.

Oh I dont know about that. The IPMS(UK) Bomber command sig has exhibited at the IPMS(Germany) national show in Berlin once or twice over the last few years.

That'd be tempting the various German museums to get some Me109s and Fw190s airborne I'd have thought....
