With Easter over and the offspring returned to Uni/Work, my work bench [aka Dining Room table] is once again avaliable, so work can re-start on the Sea Dart and Sea Squirt ;D

Wonderfull ID cards.

I've got an original 1945 Observers Book of Aircraft. Most of the Japanese and Soviet types and some of the German are artists impressions rather then photos. Was given it as a child sometime in the 50's.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Both my Grandads were in the ROC during the war, these cards came from my Grandad on my Dad's side.  Back when I was at school, I used to have every one of them memorized (I'm not to shabby now at it either)  There's three different sets of cards there, two sets are mostly of European area operated aircraft, while the big set has a lot of Japanese stuff included.

I have a set of similar cards from the 1950/60's - I posted some of the more obscure ones on here a while ago. I have a load of ROC stuff in the loft, which hasn't seen the light of day since the 1991 Stand Down, including my uniform - I doubt very much whether it would fit me now, as it has probably shrunk in storage ;D
