Great artwork, ideas keep forming in my mind. I.e. twin B-52s!

How about some cheek mounted jet pods, like the Ju 287?

I had originally thought about a pair of additional jets mounted on the sides of the nose similar to the Ju287, but was worried about the jet wash on the props.
Yes, in plastic or metal, this is not easy. While in drawing, I can do it without problem. So here is the famous Wu-177Z (that almost won WW2, frightening...):

Am going to start a seperate thread for my line work in another section....

Even have something special for you!  Has 3 engine, 3 booms and two pods!!!!!  ;)

McColm

Got that B-29 look about it or did Boeing copy the styling?

One on top of the other.  A biplane with a double decker fuselage.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

zenrat industries:  We're everywhere...for your convenience..

Yes, Zenrat, you are right: this is the connexion between the Twin-Stratofortress and the He-177: the double He-177 Mistel! (without intermeshing propellers: the upper component is slightly in front of the lower one):

I am not only the Nr1 Zwilling-fan in the whole World (of what-if modellers), I am also the Nr2 of Asymmetric-aircraft fans in the World
Well, I am at fist the Nr1 twin-boom-fan, but this includes Zwilling in French definition ("bipoutre").
Concerning non-Zwilling twin-boomers, there was of course the He-077 below (before the designer judged the tail gunner would be better installed in the main pod/fuselage):

That top one is of much interest, I love the floating gunner's pod. I made the MPM kit a few years back, it's in pieces now in the attic. Very difficult kit but a good source of spares if I attack this project ;D
