I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Same meaning/negative connotations here in the US/Canada, but I guess they get by
on the nudge-nudge-wink-wink 'you know I don't really mean it' just-a-boy cop out.
Dunno 'bout the UK, but over here RC car models are acceptably macho, particularly
the 'gas' and nitro powered 4 X 4 'extreme' truck versions, whereas static scale models
are not, with the unsurprising result that the average RC car aficionado I've encounterd
here has been pretty much an idiot. Some seriously dumb folk who look down their noses
at both static modelers and RC aircraft modelers/flyers.
:banghead:
Oh yeah, and they also tend to stink of cigarettes and stale Budweiser. :-\

I was under the impression that Budweiser contains such significant amounts of chemicals that it remains "fresh" for ever.

MY LHS has half its floorspace devoted to RC cars and the last time I was in there a bloke was complaining because the grass slowed down his car and what could he do about it.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Give the grass a coat of high gloss black followed by chrome from the best rattlecan?  ;)
Cheers.
