Unicraft might be releasing a what if conversion kit, in 1/72 of a Ju 87 with a BMW 801 radial.

While 1/72 is a perfectly acceptable scale, and there are a lot of aircraft and other vehicles in that scale, I'm not very comfy with it. Yes, I've been buying kits from Igor, because those subjects appeal to me(especially tailless and flying wings), I actually prefer quarter scale, and even like 1/32, and there once was a model of Beaver in 1/24 scale(I think it was a promotion for some brand of whisky, but the model looked pretty nice, for the vintage, the 70s, and still might have potential, if you can find one, for a nice model), but quarter scale is fine by me.

And so, thinks I, could I do this all by my lonesome, as I have a Stuka and an Do217, both in quarter scale, the 217 being a spare kit, in case I lose any of the small parts on the first 217 kit, and the 217 had the 801 radial.

So, I go back to Unicraft, and look at the little illustration once more for any detail I might've missed previously.

The Ju 87 conversion also has a canopy that looks kind of like that off a Fw 190.

But it has the underwing gun pod(s), so perhaps that a G model 87 was used as a basis, and I have a D model.

And so, in the middle of one model(the Horten), the wheels are turning in the direction of another project, at least tentatively, because right now, I hear the faint noise of something grinding, and as is the case when I hear someone start their car, and the bendix of the starter motor sounds like it's trying to eat some flywheel teeth, perhaps I might just end up with a pound of ground round, which would be far better than what I found in the transmission of a Hiller 12 helicopter, as well as adhering to the spark plug electrodes of all twelve spark plugs(yes, there is a story behind that, which might have ended with me finding out what happens when a Hiller Killer autorotates from 2500 feet just after the engine and transmission seized, but another time, perhaps, if anyone is interested) after we landed and secured the engine.
