Some interesting stuff, but I think we are stuck with the @MACH .8 tube for quite sometime.  And the dreams and drawings of comfort and lay down berths in economy class? Forget it....

I could see the much discussed, but never built Mach 1-2 bizjet, making the first splash on the higher speed market. Hypersonic is way, way off.  Perhaps a Virgin Gallactic Spaceship II type (with safety improvements) approach with a transatlantic apogee vs the current up and down thrill ride could be interesting way for quick crossings.

Does anyone else think the picture of the Reaction Engines airliner look a LOT like the Myasischev M53 bomber???
If you love, love without reservation; If you fight, fight without fear - THAT is the way of the warrior

The only way you'll ever get a lay down berth in cattle class is if you're stacked in like this.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

yup! lancer I quite agree with you having looked at the link. if there is a kit available of the M53 it should not be too hard to convert it to a passable Reaction Engines
airliner.
