I just realized that the little 'thing' with two prongs sticking out of it were the antenna for the roof ! I thought it was a gimmick to hold the bomb bay doors open

Guess I should read the instructions once in awhile eh ? Anyway, I broke them off while cleaning it up, so have drilled some holes in it to which I will add styrene rod and try and replicate it.

RCN roundels is what I need. I have lots but nothing this big. Just a MP type for now. I was thinking of adding a refuelling probe and some underwing stores ( like a SKAD, maybe a Bullpup and or and extra tank ) but think I might leave well enough alone for now.

Allright enough excuses. I'm going to modify the kit roundels with some home made leaves. Either modified ( enlarged ) RCN or RCAF ones, or just hand painted. I need to get this done, and really, new decals is just an excuse to spend money !

I've got some from a 1/48 Tracker. Would they be big enough? Find a review of the S-2A kit, have a look and if they fit the bill give us a shout and I'll post them off.

They'd probably fit. Are they the old RCN type ? I'll go google 'em and thanks for the offer !
