Freightdog 2015 update

Hello everyone,

A quick update on what is happening at Freightdog. Those who saw me at Telford might of walked away with a 1/72 EE Lightning FGA conversion set, which has strangely not yet appeared on my website. Reason being was mentioned on the instructions, there was a mistake spotted a couple of days before the show, in the two bomb pylons being too deep. A suggested fix was given on the instructions, however with further research I decided to get new pylon masters made for the set which are significantly different, being shallower and also relocate the mounting of the bombs included in the set further forward.

I'm sending the new masters off to the caster now, if you bought the set from me at Telford, please drop me an email to freightdog(at)btopenworld(dot)com and I will post you out a free replacement set in a couple of weeks. I will be listing the set on the website in the next few days, any new orders will have the correct pylons, only the ones sold at Telford need corrections.

Prior to Telford I was working on a what-if decal sheet, to cover operational schemes of some of the conversions and complete kits in my range. I ran out of time to get ready for the show, and this has been dormant since November, I'm hoping to get some more work on it soon so maybe it can be ready in a month or two.       

As for new stuff, I will be announcing some items at beginning of 2015, not as exciting as Airfix but there might be something of interest I hope!

Hi Colin - no sweat about the pylons. Can't speak for anybody else, but I for one don't want or need replacements. I bought the set knowing all about the pylon issue, but I didn't care about it because I had no intention of building it as-intended anyway.

New pylons's have arrived if anyone wants them. I will bring a handful of spares along to Huddersfield, and should hopefully be at Bolton to.
