somewhere around the forum i saw a unmanned Me262 not Mistel but it would look like one the model is the usual suspect Revell's great Me262
and yes i know i have another messer on the bench but it have crack on the cockpit its not a scratch  that i can fix :banghead: so that's going to wait a bit
about the UAV well its not that different from a mistel tbh so it's easy convertion or is it ?

How about putting a glass nose on it and add cannons to the underside and make it a prone piloted variant?
"Mind that bus." "What bus?" *SPLAT!*

;D ;) Uh? I don't know for Me-262, but that has been built and flown "in Real life" for (Zwilling) Me-462, look:

Your words made me think: why is the Me-262 fuselage so big? I searched in my (mental) archives and found the Me-562 explanation: in this civilian plane (designed 1945, December 25th, and flown 1946, May 8th), the cockpit was all Inside the Me-262 fuselage without canopy above. As a plastic model, this seems very possible, but with black glazed parts, not scratchbuilding all that, maybe...

a un-manned photo drone has been done before - saw a mag article on it some years ago.  It was a standard 262 with a metal skin over the place where the cockpit used to be.  saves you doing a zwilling.

the glass nose made me think for a bit and i come up with this idea of Henschel Hs 132 / Akaflieg Berlin B9 prone pilot position cockpit

the me 262 was my test model so here it is with my Me266

the skinned over drone looks very missile-like - very clean.  Looking forward to the camo job.

You could put a He-162 on top and create a Mistel combo, too?
