The Wooksta!

Or what to do with some left over decals!

In this case, the ones from the new tool Airfix Defiant.*   Found an Airfix Hurricane mk I in a box of complete but unpainted/part painted builds and remembering that Defiant article I'd read earlier that day, gave it a quick dust and took it out back for a quick spray with some cheapo pound shop black spray.  Did the trick but not as nice as Halfords.  Decals went on with little difficulty bar the sharkmouth, which needed cutting.

Quick and simple whiff that gets something else out of the way and done.

*Note to self - take some Defiant shots when doing the last of the Spitfires

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Fantastice to see your stuff up here at last Lee. Now everyone can see the delights rather then those of us who see them at shows

Good use of the old Airfix Hurricane I there, Lee.  A product of it's time but still the best 1/72 tin-wing Hurri I out there and I believe from a member of this forum the outer wings can be grafted nicely on to the rag-wing Mk I.  Keep your powder dry though for the BoB GB!

One other thing.  Couldn't find the original prop but in any case, the prop for the kit is generally short shot, so it got replaced with a De Havilland prop from the old tool Airfix Spitfire mk Ia.

Nice job! The beauty of whiff world is bashing things together and making something cool!

Very elegant indeed. And with the black paint it looks sleeker than usual.
