Go for it! That said, I don't want to rush a cool project.

Then again you're pretty much there already ! Might as well put your head down and do the last bits. I'd finish one wing and put a big juicy roundel on it to get motivated to finish the rest

Looking good, an uncanny resemblance to my Bristol Type 170 Sea Moose AEW. Bought the Revell kit, another AEW to build.

Thanks everyone for all the encouragement so far  ;D The grey is done, the red is done.

Now all I need to do is ....

paint and fit the undercarriage

fit the forward piece of the hull (left off so far because I presume some lead will be involved - with the massive tail there's no way this won't naturally be a tail-sitter!)

fit any aerials, lumps and bumps etc

Apply any relevant kit-supplied decals (anyone want some "Securite Civile" decals for a future fire-bomber project ?  ;) )

Apply the Royal Navy markings and the squadron markings...already chosen, hopefully they'll complement the paint scheme  :-\

Oh to be whiffing again :-(

Captain Canada

Right on ! Can't wait. Guess now I should stop talking and finish mine eh ?

Received one yesterday.

And pray tell, what are you planning to do with it ?

Or as they once said on a Meatloaf song ...."What's it gonna be Boy ?! "  ;) ;D

Either go down the AEW route or jet power-turbofans from the A-10 kit. Would make a great gunship.
Always wanted to build a Shackleton water bomber.
