Thank you all for all the positive comments! I'm glad this was so well received. And thank you all for waiting so patiently too. I'm glad it all seems to have been worth the wait!

Love it. All of the different shapes and angles....very well done. Love the colours of the camo as well. The red tips really set it off. The weapons load is pretty cool as well !

One final update on this - my local IPMS club had a meeting this evening, and it was competition time. The theme was 'the Enigma trophy', which is 'anything hard to explain'. My F-16 fit this nicely, so I entered it in the competition.

I won the trophy, and not only that, I also had a lot of very positive and interested comments on the model itself, and what I'd done to it. I was really pleased to have such a great reaction to my model, especially as it went through such a long and difficult road to be completed!
I thought I'd share that with all of you too, since I figured you'd all appreciate it!

Well deserved!  One could say that it's from the same lot of the XL and AFTI designs, don't you think?

Thank you both!

Zen, it was certainly in part inspired by those, as well as by fictional aircraft based on those designs as well.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

QuoteCool.  Is that the Trophy?

Yeah, apparently it was made by another member of the club out of scrap bits and pieces they had lying around!
