P.1083 P.1109 availability

What has happened to the P.1083 and P.1109B and Canberra fighter conversions? They are not listed on the Freightdog website any more...

If and when Revell re-issue the Hunter, I'm sure the P.1083 will get re-released, however the original masters have been lost, thanks to a careless caster I tried out. So I would have to get the wings re-made from a sub-master, or just made again. That's not going to be worthwhile if the Hunter kits aren't readily available, so will have to wait itd re-issue first.

Yeah, but what about all the guys that bought the kit when it was available and have it in the stash waiting for your conversion ------

Ah but your missing the point, if the mould was OK then Colin would probably just get a few cast to meet demand, but with the masters gone they would need to be recast if a suitable sub-master is available or re-mastered, as all of this is done by third parties the cost will be more than the actual demand will recoup. Both donor kits are currently OOP and their 2nd hand value has increased so hopefully Revell will start thinking about a re-pop sooner rather than later.
