Not necessarily.  Your target might only be in your sights for a second or less, thats 100-200 less rounds which might hit it.  Then you have what those rounds do, once they hit.  During the BoB, the RAF had initially 8 .303s and then 12 on their fighters.  They flung a lot of lead but did little damage unless they struck something vital.  German bombers returned from the UK looking like sieves but were repaired and flew again.

Yes, but I'd like to point out that based on 6 x 12.7 and 4 x 20, that would mean that in one second

- 6 x 12.7 put out 60-70 rounds
- 4 x 20mm put out 30-1/3 to 40 rounds a second
- 4 x 20mm put out 29.3333 to 30 less rounds
