After a few small problems with this kit I did manage to get it finished. This kit was built O.O.B. and paints used were Model Master enamels, markings for ''red 1'' was a mix of painted on markings and scraps from my decal spares box...''red 1'' is not an option in the kit decals.

The biggest change I made to this kit was sanding down the top of the wing spar to reduce the dihedral, other builds of this same kit had (to my eyes) looked like the dihedral was too severe and sanding down the spar was an easy way to take care of this problem.

In the image below you can see the result of the pre-shading I did, it blends in well with the other weathering techniques but does not stand out so much to where it ruins the model...less=more in this case.

Very good.  Weathering and shading is spot on IMO.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Thank you Zenrat!

My next 109 will look a little more tattered than this one.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
