There's a pic about of an Otter with the fuselage of a Cessna strapped on one side out there as well. very cool. And I'm always a fan of the whif credo...built it your way etc etc.

Yeah, but to be fair, when we speak of the Beaver and Otter we are not speaking of mere aircraft, but supernatural conveyances of the Gods themselves. They can haul anything, anywhere, any time.

The boat is strapped to the fuselage, not the floats and it's on a lake with nill swell or wave.

But frak it, you lot will just say but "What If?" as if that's the answer to everything, just frak physics and everything else.

Oh, yeah BTW adding floats to a Gladiator makes all the 'power to weight' ratio stuff that applies
to the REAL WORLD Gladiator as irrelevant as comparing it to the Norseman, which was frakking
designed as a bushplane.

No, it's strapped to the struts, and hangs quite a bit off-centre. And it's so close to the starboard float that it may just as well be touching it. Personally, I would have had the bow forward, but maybe there's a problem with attaching it that way.

Are you saying that the weight of the floats would add enough to bring the ratios to similar values? I doubt they weigh that much.
