I love traction engines.  Many is the time i'd be riding my motorsickle through the lanes of Kent or Sussex on a balmy summers day (14 degrees and a light drizzle) and upon getting to the head of a massive queue of fuming drivers would find a traction engine chugging along.  Sometimes, to add insult to injury they would be towing a caravan.



The guy opposite my house does traction engines. I've had them coming and going all summer at the weekends.
