If this Photobucket link works, you should see a collection of the things that caught my fancy at today's event. I stick to photographing the what ifs, of course, other unusual subjects, and the models we rarely see built up.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Captain Canada

Wow.  Great stuff there Rat ! Love all the sci-fi, whomever did the Star Wars fighters sure knows what they are doing. The Falcon almost being eaten is a good one as well. I love how big the LERX looks on the F-18 in that scheme.

CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

CANSO

I will proudly announce that yesterday in Ajax my son won First Place in his category (Juniors - Phantasy) and the Best Junior Model award for his Antigravity Racer (a modified vanship). This was his first whif so far.

That's excellent, not only the model, but the display and the fact that he won 1st place! Congratulations.      :drink:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

NARSES2

Cheers Ratty

And well done CANSO Jnr
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

CANSO

Thank you guys! The junior is pretty proud with the awards! Unfortunately teenage girls are not impressed by such achievements at all ;D.

"Kit", the display was roughly based on an old idea of mine to use some car-racing posters from the 30's. My son was pretty quick with the computer (what else? ;D)  - in about 10 min. he photoshoped a plane-racing and a "Last exile" posters and produced his own vanship-racing advertisement.
"Rat" we probably already met, without knowing who is who. ;) For the next year we should coordinate who's going to visit the show.
