As you all know the premise being that Boulton Paul submitted their Defiant to the US Navy for a carrier based dive bomber in 1939.

I`ll let you guys decide the outcome.











My next Defiant build will be based on what the Americans would of done if they had accepted the basic design and then `pimped it` to their desired requirements.

Make that two .50 cal Browning AN/M2 "light-barrel" dorsal nose-mount synchronized machine guns (as per the early P-40's) & the four .303's in the turret swapped out for a pair of .30 cal Browning AN/M2's, plus a F6F Hellcat style wing-fold system.
