A bit of a long shot, i recall a book launch at Telford a few years ago for a U2 history by Chris Pocock, im looking for a snap of the Lockheed display model which was on the authors signing table, I seem to recall it had roundels on the black finish ? I know I photographed it but its 'somewhere' in the files :)

That rings bells with me too Joe, but then it would, wouldn't it?  ;D :lol:

It wouldn't be too difficult to make one though..........
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
