Oh, ah! The upper side view confirms my impression that a Centaurus grafted onto a P-51H, with its deeper fuselage and bigger tail, should look even better or balanced - even though I still like the idea of the rather sleek P-51D with the blunt nose, because it looks really purposeful.  ;)

Thanks a lot for taking up my idea, I feel honored.

Yes, something that way. Thanks a lot!
Thanks to you...
While, uh... something was wrong with my drawing. Maybe, from the Sea-Fury engine, the standardized length should not be "propeller to windscreen" but "propeller to wing". With 2 possible ways:

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Sorry :-\ maybe I have almost "hijacked" this topic: of course its subject is only the wonderful model on Page 1, my drawings being just delirium about it.
Congratulations again Dizzyfugu for what you built with so much talent!

Ah, you're welcome. It's nice to see that some weird ideas inspire others, so your contribution is highly appreciated.
