Well- my methods are crude, as I can't really be bothered to do proper drawings. What I do is get a nice outline drawing, remove the parts I don't want, then print it out. Turn the paper over, and then use those lines you can see through the page as a guide to draw. Then scan it in, and if the drawing is lop-sided (mine always are) take the best half, copy it, flip it and stick it over the other half.

Its very crude but easy to make a quick idea sketch.

Today there's an interesting picture of a scale model of the J-10 swing-wing fighter .... Funny ... for me it looks like an interesting combination of a Mirage 2000 in 1/48 and a F-111 in 1/72 !  :lol:  :lol:

Looks a bit stretched out.  However move the nose/intake area back so the intakes are close to the F-111 glove area and it might look better.

Nice looking bird on its own though!

Looks like an F-111 body mated to a Mirage front end.

Cool design though...would make a good What If!!
