Just a quick pick before I had to drive back onto the ferry at Toronto Island Airport. Two Greenland Air Dash 7s!

Cool, but I think it is a Dash 7.  8's have 2 engines.

Cool!  that is definitely an aircraft that needs to be done in 1/72 scale ---

I'm not sure that the Dash 7 has ever been done in 1/72, has it?

The Secretary of my 'local' model club (45 miles away...) did one using two or more Dash 8s and a P-3 Orion I think. It's often been on the Airliner SIG stand at Telford.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Big Book just says Sasquatch in 1/144 but there is the Welsh Models kit also in 1/144 and a couple of die-casts in 1/200. I have found one kit in 1/72, made by a company called Space Models UK. Can't find very much about it though. I think it's more of a desk-top type of model and De Havilland did a marketing model of the -7 in 1/72

AFAIK, Greenland Air also operates or operated S-61 helicopters? That would be an option, too - the livery is pretty and except for the typo relatively easy to realize. A Norseman could look nice in red?

Yep, corrected. Can't understand why I did that, it's one of my all-time favourite aircraft.

We see that US spy type, or monitoring, or whatever it is buzz by the river once in awhile. I need to get into the habit of bringing my camera with me everywhere again.
