This weekend(Friday & Saturday) the Dutch Air Force had their open days for 2016. It was a nice show with lots of action.
The KLu showed of its new F-35 fighters during the Air Power Demo.

Naturally I love the 2nd shot of the Reds, amazing timing. What focal length lens did you use for them please?

I use a Sony A77 II camera with a Tamron 150-600 lens. The shot was taken at 450mm.

Thanks, I figured it must have been a pretty long focus lens.

After this year's CAA restrictions we're all going to need 1000 mm lenses in the UK I reckon!

These are also the first really dynamic shots I've seen of the F-35. All the others I've seen are strictly straight and level, it makes it look rather good :mellow: :mellow: :thumbsup:
