I suppose the tail wheel had a stainless steel tyre, did it?  ;D :lol:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

That's a pretty good story ! I like the idea of ditching the gear, and the canvas cover is a nice touch. Love the way the finish looks, as if she's been used hard and left out in the elements.
